The FVOA Board of Directors recently held a meeting to discuss an agenda of items of interest.

 

1. One of our original Directors resigned and per our By-Laws, the Board made an appointment to fill this vacancy.  Chris Gilbert was appointed to fill Vacancy.

2. Membership fees for this year will be held at $45.

 

3. Dates for training sessions were formulated.  

1st week - Tues. October 1st

2nd week - Wed. October 9th

3rd week - Tues. October 15th

4th week - Wed. October 23rd

5th week - Tues. October 29th

6th week - Wed. November 6th

These meetings will alternate from in-person or Zoom.

We will advise final schedule based on clinician's availability.

 

In person meeting AGAIN will be held at the Warrior Room at McHenry (west) H.S.  Steve Bellmore is able to get this room for us a No Charge.

Joel and Rich are confirming the Clinicians to speak and we will advise on later communications.

 

Tentative.... we plan to hold a JOINT MEETING with the NOA On October 9th at the Warrior Room.  This will be confirmed in later communications.  A social will follow that night also.

 

4.  We discussed and plan to form a FVOA Mentorship or Observers program.  More to follow at our Meetings.

6. Officials Conference on July 12th & 13th

Pat Hudgens, Bill Orris, Chris Gilbert, Dave Lopshire & Chuck Gonzalez attended the IHSA Officials Conference (Josh Perry was spotted also.  Tom Cordogan was also there).  Pat Hudgens was the FVOA Official Delegate to the Conference. Bill Orris was a speaker on Flag Football. Dave Lopshire & Chuck Gonzalez spoke at the Basketball Clinic.  The FVOA will seek Funds from the IHSA for a new computer for Meeting Presentations.
